Kim Culbertson
Kim Culbertson’s award-winning first novel, Songs for a Teenage Nomad, was published by Hip Pocket Press in 2007 and reissued by Sourcebooks Fire in September of 2010. Sourcebooks Fire will publish her second young adult novel in May of 2011. She lives in the Northern California foothills with her husband and daughter.

Malinda Lo
Malinda Lo’s debut novel Ash was a finalist for the 2010 William C. Morris Award and a Kirkus Best Young Adult Novel of 2009. Formerly, she was an entertainment reporter, and was awarded the Sarah Pettit Memorial Award for Excellence in LGBT Journalism. She currently lives in Northern California with her partner and their dog.

Barbara Quick
Barbara Quick won the Discover Prize for her first novel, Northern Edge. Her 2007 historical novel, Vivaldi’s Virgins, has been translated into 14 languages. A Golden Web, her crossover young adult title, was published in April. Barbara lives on a farm in Cotati with violist and vigneron Wayne Roden.

Juanita Martin
She will be the moderator of the Teen Poetry Slam.
Juanita J. Martin, a Sonoma County Library Slam Champion, is an award-winning poet, freelance writer, and performance artist. Her poetry appears in journals such as Blue Collar Review, Soma Literary Review, and Rattlesnake Review. She's active in a variety of writers groups, including Ina Coolbrith Circle and Redwood Writers. |
